1. Cancellation & Refund: General Rule
If you request a cancellation prior to shipment, we guarantee a 100% refund. Once a product is shipped, cancellations or refunds for change-of-mind are not allowed. This is because costs such as handling, packing, and courier charges cannot be reversed.
2. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items
Customers must notify us within seven (7) days of delivery for damaged, defective, or incorrect items. Claims should include clear photographs or videos. We may provide a replacement, store credit, or refund depending on availability.
3. Partial Refunds & Exchanges
In multi-item orders, refunds or replacements will only be processed for specific affected items, ensuring fairness to both customers and the seller.
4. Refund Processing Time
Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method. Banks and payment gateways may take additional time to reflect the refund.
5. Returns Shipping & Costs
For valid claims (defective or incorrect items), we cover return shipping costs. For voluntary returns (change-of-mind), customers are responsible for shipping costs both ways.
6. Pre-Orders & Backorders
Pre-order cancellations are allowed until shipment. For backordered items no longer available, customers receive a full refund.
7. Fraud, Misuse & Abuse
The Pustakwala Bookstore reserves the right to refuse refunds in cases of habitual returns, fraudulent claims, or misuse of discount/refund policies.
